Trust and safety

Pureworker connects you with service providers. This page explains what we check, what we do not, and what to do if something goes wrong. It is written to be useful before you hire someone rather than after.

What Pureworker does

You tell us what you need. We introduce you to providers who offer that service and can cover your area. You then deal with the provider directly.

Pureworker is free to use. We do not charge customers, we do not take a commission, and we do not handle your money. Payment is arranged between you and the provider, on whatever terms you both agree.

What verified means

A verified provider has had their identity checked. They submitted their National Identification Number, it was checked against the national database, and a member of our team reviewed their profile before approving it.

Read exactly what the verification covers.

What we do not guarantee

Verification confirms who someone is. It is not a criminal record check, and we do not describe it as one.

We also do not assess trade qualifications, guarantee the quality of any work, guarantee that a provider will arrive or be available, or set or guarantee prices. Those are between you and the provider.

Treat a Pureworker introduction the way you would treat a personal recommendation: a good starting point, not a substitute for your own judgement.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings come from customers who were introduced to that provider through Pureworker. We do not write reviews, we do not buy them, and we do not remove one because a provider asked us to.

A provider with no reviews is usually new to the platform rather than poorly rated, and profiles say so rather than showing an empty score.

What we ask of customers

Describe the job honestly, agree the price and scope before work starts, and be present or reachable while someone is working at your address. Share only the contact details you are comfortable sharing.

What we ask of providers

Keep your profile accurate, only list services you can genuinely do, turn up when you have agreed to, and be straight about pricing before starting. Providers who repeatedly fail this are removed.

If something goes wrong

Message us on WhatsApp on +234 913 500 6363 or +234 911 717 2995, or email pureworker@pureworker.com. Tell us who you were introduced to and what happened.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your nearest emergency service first. Pureworker is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in one.
