When a provider on Pureworker is marked verified, this is what they went through.
A provider selects the specific services they are offering, which is what they can then be matched for.
A short description in their own words, plus a profile photo. This is what you read on their profile.
Each reference gives a name, their relationship to the provider, an email and a phone number. The two references must be different people.
A short selfie scan in the app, which confirms a real person is completing the registration rather than someone reusing photographs.
The National Identification Number is the only ID we accept. It is checked against the national database, and the profile cannot be approved until that check returns a match.
A member of our team looks at the whole profile and approves or declines it. Approval is not automatic once the ID check passes.
This is an identity and profile check. Being clear about its limits matters more than making it sound thorough.
An identity check does not last forever. Verification carries an expiry, and a provider whose check has lapsed stops being listed as verified until it is renewed.
If a provider is not who their profile says they are, tell us and we will look into it. How to report a problem.
